Who this covers

NAJ Tap is operated by NAJ Marketing & Business Development. This policy applies to (1) businesses that create a NAJ Tap page or admin account, and (2) their customers who interact with a published NAJ Tap page, join a loyalty program, claim a coupon, or submit a lead form.

What we collect

From businesses: account and contact details (name, email, phone), business profile information (branding, hours, links, tile configuration), and usage of the admin dashboard.

From a business's customers, on their behalf: information voluntarily submitted through a page — name, phone number, or email on a lead form, coupon claim, loyalty signup, or feedback form; loyalty card activity (stamps, points, rewards); and, only if a loyalty program enables it, an approximate location check used solely to confirm proximity for self-serve stamping.

Automatically, for analytics: page taps and button clicks, coarse device type, and coarse geographic location (country/region/city, derived from network information — not GPS) so businesses can see which of their links and signs perform best. A short-lived, non-identifying cookie distinguishes new visitors from returning ones.

How it's used

Customer-submitted data (leads, coupon claims, loyalty enrollments, feedback) is shared with the specific business whose page collected it, for that business to follow up with its own customer. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share one business's customer data with another business.

Analytics data is used to power each business's own dashboard and is not used to build cross-business advertising profiles.

Apple Wallet passes

A loyalty member's Apple Wallet pass contains only what's needed to display and update the card itself (name, member code, progress). Passes update automatically via Apple's push notification service when a stamp or reward changes — this uses a device token issued by Apple, not any additional personal data.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies: session/authentication cookies for signed-in admin and business accounts, and a visitor-recognition cookie on public pages used only for return-visit analytics. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention & deletion

Business account data is retained for as long as the account is active. A business can request deletion of its entire account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below; we'll action that request within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

A customer of one of our business clients can separately ask us to erase their own personal information (name, phone number, email, and any comments they left) without affecting that business's account or its other customers' data. Reach out to the business directly, or to us at the address below, and we'll remove it.
